I’d send you a picture if I could figure out how. I rec’d your book as a Christmas gift. My first (silent) reaction was, I will not do this. Guess who made a sock pal yesterday? That’s right – me. Then I asked a bunch of people what they think it is and the answers so far have ranged from squirrel, bunny to batman, ewok, ugly doll. Not a single correct response.
Huh…it’s a raccoon! How can they not see that??!! ha ha

Nonsense! Do NOT go back to quilting. I LOVE your raccoon. I recognized it IMMEDIATELY. It is a fine first sock creature. I predict you will create many, many more, and I’m so pleased you made it. I’m going to post it on my Your Turn section of the site because I think it is marvelous!
